Chitose Abe of sacai has reached near legendary status with her latest collaborations, teaming up with the right people to fully flesh out her Swoosh-adorned visions. While her first set slowly makes its way up the resale charts, it’s the second groupings of greyscale Nike LDWaffle colorways that have many at the ready for release. Surely a distinct departure, the “Summit White” pair is barren of any vibrant tones, preferring barren whites and subtly grays to flesh out an contrast with its doubled motif. Heel counters and toe caps bear a more light visage next to underlying panelling of a darker tone; mesh, which comprises much of the presentation, follow in the former’s example while adding atop bleached checks and laces.
