Jerry Lorenzo’s first original Nike Basketball sneaker- The Fear of God 1 combines classic 1990s designs taken from popular Nike silhouettes.
Lorenzo worked with Leo Chang, senior footwear design director at Nike Basketball, to help combine his aesthetic vision with high-performance technology.
One of the debut colorways comes dressed in a Light Bone color scheme. The high-top performance shoe features a premium leather upper, TPU cage wrapping the heel, a zipper up the heel, long rope laces that wrap the ankle, and a stacked Zoom Air unit in the midsole. Branding is kept to a minimum with a small black Swoosh on the lateral side and tonal Nike Air and Fear of God logos on the heel.
